Reece McQuaker, left, Jenna Clendenning, and CC Hayes were among the Muskie girls’ hockey players volunteering at a fundraiser barbecue for the squad Saturday outside Safeway. The team has been practising in anticipation of its first tournament of the season Oct. 19-22 in Winnipeg. The Muskies then will host the annual Scott Clendenning Memorial Showcase the following weekend.
