Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry staff and students from Fort Frances High School posed together for a photo in front of one of the ministry’s helicopters as they participated in an outdoor field session for the SP100 course earlier this fall. The course is a prerequisite for a job as a FireRanger with the ministry, and a modified version of the course was offered to FFHS students to provide a different type of learning, as well as to potentially increase local interest in working with the MNRF. -Submitted photo
