Jaxon Gartzke marvelled at his reflection in the hub cap of a wheel on a fire truck Saturday at Canadian Tire, where the Fort Frances Fire-Rescue Service was to kick off Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 8-14). Firefighters were on hand to answer any fire safety questions while the public was encouraged to check out info displays, fill out draws, and pick up fire hats for the kids. Firefighters also are visiting local schools this week to spread the word about fire safety.
