Rainy River District School Board trustee and Northern Regional vice-chair for the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA) Kathryn Pierroz spoke with Minster of Education Stephen Lecce during a reception held as part of OPSBA Advocacy Day last week at Queen’s Park. OPSBA Directors held meetings with over 50 MPPs to discuss and advocate their key priorities in education including strong and equitable funding, student well-being, and Indigenous education. Pierroz was re-elected as the RRDSB’s OPSBA rep at Tuesday evening’s annual meeting.
