Former OHL goalie Brock McGillis was at the Townshend Theatre last Wednesay to share with Fort High students his struggles of being a closeted pro athlete, as well as to share his empowering message of self-love and inclusion while also aiming to change the perceptions of LGBTQ athletes and individuals. McGillis is the first hockey player to come out publicly as being gay.
