Isabelle Tanguay, left, Peyton Cousineau, Corban Galusha, and Nancy Leach were among the kids who had fun making pickles last week at the Fort Frances Day Care school-age program at Robert Moore School. The kids were taught how to make the pickles by Myndi Siemens, who runs the “home cooking” program every Monday from noon-2 p.m. at the Best Start Hub (located in the Children’s Complex) until Nov, 4. Caregivers and children are urged to come by the hub and learn how make bread, jam, and more.
