Harley Bragg, left, Claire Alleman, and Ciaria Whitecrow, early-years students at Robert Moore School, helped to make bannock as part of the “Fall Harvest” event there this morning. All three early-years classes were taking part, moving through a series of activities while learning about grandfather teachings, drumming, regalia, wild rice, and medicine teachings. They also were making “stone soup,” which they would eat, along with the bannock, during a feast in the afternoon.
