Adam Bolen, representing the Fort Frances Curling Club, fell 11-6 to Jim Cummine (Sioux Lookout) in this morning’s opening draw of the Travelers 2014 Northern Ontario Curling Association Men’s West Qualifier here. Bolen and his rink of third Lorne Jackson, second Neil Haw, and lead Andy McCormick next face Dan Lemieux (Sault Ste. Marie) in a ‘B’-side match-up today at 2:30 p.m. Trevor Bonot of Stratton, now curling out of Thunder Bay, won his opener 7-2 in eight ends against Lemieux and will play again tonight at 7:30 in an ‘A’ Side semi-final.
