The Whitefish Bay Li’l Rangers, a six-player group of mostly first-year players, showed plenty of heart and flexibility in doing all they could to hold off Keanu Tom, right, and the more experienced and numerous Couchiching First Nation team during a one-day showcase put on by Northwest Bay at the Emo-La Vallee Arena on Saturday. It was one of the last minor hockey events of the season in the district.
