The doorway bearing the name “Rainy Lake Hotel” was the last piece of the front wall to be demolished yesterday afternoon. By about 4:15 p.m., nothing was left standing. JMX Contracting will continue to work there for the near future, tearing down the walls left standing next to Brockie’s Jewellers and Causeway Insurance, doing some site servicing, backfilling the front section of the basement, and cleaning up debris.
