About a dozen youngsters, including Amber Chenier, 10, and Josaiah Peltomaki, seven, came together at the Fort Frances Public Library yesterday to celebrate the Summer Olympics and London during this week’s “Tween Thursday” activities. They made edible medals out of sugar cookies and fruit roll-ups, ate scones and drank iced tea, made crafts, and competed in a mini-Olympics.
