Kerry Robertson, left, Lisa Hammond, and Stephanie Weir received honks of support during a protest late this morning as temporary workers of Canada Post were locked out of their jobs here. Local grievance officer Kim Kelly said these temporary workers are supposed to work on an on-call basis, but some of them, such as Robertson, work full-time hours without a pension or benefits. Kelly also noted one full-time employee had to do the work of three today, meaning three days’ worth of mail sits unsorted due to the lockout.
