A motorist escaped injury Friday morning when his pickup truck, trailering a load of lumber, jack-knifed on Highway 11 at Windy Point. Fort Frances OPP Cst. Mike Golding said the driver was eastbound around 10 a.m. when he went over a bump in the road at the bridge, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The truck spun around, causing the trailer to collide with the barrier and the lumber to spill over the guardrail. Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour while the lumber was cleaned up and the truck towed away.
