Grade 4 students Lauren Penney, left, and Hannah McDermid worked on wireless notebooks Friday during a Literacy Day event at St. Francis School that focused on e-learning. Given today’s fast moving society, teachers and students are utilizing technology as a tool to help them teach and learn. Throughout the two-hour event, students used Smart boards, iPads, computers and lap-tops for a variety of activities.
