The Chapple Lighthouse is a great place to visit if your staycation travelling in the district. Built in 2003 and sponsored by the Chapple Heritage Committee, the Lighthouse is situated on Barwick’s waterfront just south of the Recreation Centre. It serves as a reminder of a bygone era when steam ships plied area waterways bringing supplies from Kenora. It was built according to blueprints provided by the Canadian Coast Guard and the light shines daily from dusk to dawn.
