Layne Gibson, left, Sienna Barr, Alexa Bagacki and Amy Norris put their own personal touches on some of the book ends from the teen section of the Fort Frances Public Library yesterday. The customized book ends will be varnished and then put back into use. The paint day was one of the library’s teen events, which library staffer Samantha Manty said usually run every second Wednesday afternoon. The next teen day event will be spikeball on Aug. 14. The library will also be holding a free Teen Tech Boot Camp from July 29 to Aug. 1. Teens attending the camp will learn to use 3D modelling software and the library’s 3D printer, as well as how to create videos and use the virtual reality headsets. Call or email the library to register for the camp.
