Silver Cross Mother Sadie Kowalchuk was escorted by Legion Br. #29 Sergeant-at-Arms Bob Bolland to lay a wreath at the cenotaph here during the annual Remembrance Day ceremony Saturday. The very well-attended service, which included various prayers and a recitation of “In Flanders Field,” was followed by a lunch at the local Legion.
