Work on the Legion park in west end Fort Frances, and Lillie Avenue, is proceeding apace as crews replace old sewer and water lines, take out old playground equipment, and generally prepare the location for the new playground and splash pad that is intended to be installed by the end of the summer. Work will also be done to install a crossing at Lillie Avenue and Kings Highway, allowing for safe crossing of the road by pedestrians.
