Tanner Bell helped Sara Gerber learn some rug-hooking techniques during a “Best Buddies” activity at Fort Frances High School yesterday. The program, which began there last month, brings together people with and without disabilities by giving them opportunities to get to know one another. The rug-hooking project—“What Hooks You Here?”—also was used as an art lesson throughout the day.
