As part of “Family Literacy Day,” Isabelle Tanguay practised her letters and asked Calleigh Councillor for card during a game of “Go Fish” with Amelia Tanguay and Zaagi-idiwin Aboriginal Head Start program teacher Charity McMahon last Wednesday. The annual day (Jan. 27) was celebrated locally at schools and other programs to encourage families, adults, and children to learn and read together.
