Workers yesterday surveyed the extent of the damage caused by an effluent leak discovered Monday on AbitibiBowater property near Fourth Street West and Central Avenue. A person was brought in who was able to repair the damage from inside the roughly 36-inch diameter pipe. Mill manager John Harrison said the mill was in the process of starting up again this morning.
