Muskie forward Ericka Tymkin took control of the puck during Saturday afternoon’s 1-0 win over Balmoral Hall during the Sturgeon Heights Huskies’ tournament in Winnipeg. The Muskies ended up winning the silver medal, losing the final 2-1 to Oak Park in a shootout. The Muskies also beat John Taylor 6-0 and Sturgeon Heights 4-1 in group play, and skunked Jeanne Sauve 6-0 in the semifinals. The boys team was also in action, winning the Dryden Eagles’ tournament with a 4-1 win over Kenora on Sunday.
