Fort Frances Lakers’ defenceman Mark Richter sent Thief River Falls Norskies’ forward Alec Daman a clear message he wasn’t welcome in goalie Jessie Heisz’s crease during their first-round “Survivor Series” back in March. The Lakers prevailed 3-1 in the best-of-five showdown but the three-time defending SIJHL champs then were swept by the Dryden GM Ice Dogs in the best-of-seven semi-finals.
