Boston Pizza was filled with cheers late Monday afternoon as SportsCentre announced the Fort Frances Curling Club’s bid had accumulated more votes than Dryden’s track bid, meaning the club will receive $25,000 towards its geothermal heating unit. As well, a live taping of SportsCentre, along with a community barbecue staged by Kraft, will be held here Sunday, Aug. 25.
