The participants in this year’s Safeway KidPro event smiled for the camera after a long, hot day of bass fishing on Rainy Lake yesterday. A total of 20 youngsters took part in this year’s tournament, which saw a tie for first place between Kale Bruyere-Huntley (partnered with Mike Adams and Michelle Desaulniers) and Kobi Ward (teamed up with Joe Thrun) as they both caught 11.11 pounds of fish. The biggest single bass was a 5.19-pound lunker reeled in by Chase Curtis and his pro partners, Andrew Rogozinski and Norm Lindsay.
