The local Salvation Army kicked of its Christmas kettle campaign this morning at Walmart with help from the Fort Frances Lakers, Walmart staffers, and Fort Frances Coun. John Albanese. Having raised $20,000 within the community last year, the Salvation Army hopes the campaign brings in the same amount this year. Volunteers will be ringing the bells at various locations from now until Dec. 24. Call 274-3871 to volunteer your time.
