Newly-acquired forward Ryin Allison tried to work his way around Wisconsin Wilderness defenceman Christian Belobaba on Tuesday night at the Ice For Kids Arena. Allison was held pointless in his first game as a Laker but the squad came away with a 4-3 shootout victory. The Lakers play in Sioux Lookout tonight and then in Spooner tomorrow before returning home to face the Flyers this Tuesday (Nov. 16) at 7:30 p.m. They’ll have another new player, Garrett Nystedt, in the lineup on Saturday. Nystedt, a former Dryden Ice Dog, was acquired from the NOJHL’s Blind River Beavers on Friday.
