After telling delegates about how he recovered from a near-fatal accident in 1988, CFL legend and keynote speaker Terry Evanshen inspired them to “seize each day” yesterday during the first day of the 63rd-annual general conference of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA). About 160 delegates from across the region have gathered at the Memorial Sports Centre auditorium for the event, which ends tomorrows at noon.
