Shelby Tymkin made her first career pitching appearance for the Fort Frances Mud Dogs last night in Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League action against the Couchiching Lady Raiders. But she had a rough debut as Couchiching romped to a 27-1 win in five innings. Other games yesterday saw the Fort Frances Juniors tie the Big Island Wildcats 5-5, the Big Grassy Lynx dump Sabaskong Tebinaak 15-5, Northwest Bay hammer the Sabaskong Cougars 17-2, and the Red Gut Babes edge the Manitou Blaze 15-12. The game between the Fort Frances Herricanes and Dawson Diggers was postponed.
