Samantha Clifford, who plays third for the Tirzah Keffer rink, prepared to send her rock down the ice during her squad’s 8-6 loss to Crystal Wojtowicz (Kenora) on Sunday morning at the Region 1 Curling Club Championships at the Fort Frances Curling Club. The local rink compiled a 1-3 record and failed to qualify for the provincials in April in Thunder Bay.
