Savannah Fortner, 10, left, Maisie Fichuk, nine, and Emma Kunkel, nine, proudly showed off some of their knitting skills yesterday at J.W. Walker School. The three girls are members of the school’s knitting club, which has about 25 to 30 students meeting three times a week to learn to knit or pick up new techniques. The club is supported by donations and discounts from Betty’s, Wal-Mart, and members of the school community.
