Remembrance hanging

Duane Hicks

Molly Crozier of Emo stood next to the impressive war memorial wall-hanging currently on display at the Fort Frances Seniors’ Centre (Sister Kennedy Centre). Crozier, a diehard knitter for more than 40 years, created the tribute to veterans and WWI Canadian poet, physician, and soldier John McCrae, most famous for penning “In Flanders Fields,” earlier this year and presented it the Emo Legion as part of this year’s Canada Day celebrations. It will return to the Emo Legion after Remembrance Day.
