St. Francis student McKenna Begin told council yesterday evening what she would do if she were mayor of the Town of Fort Frances. Begin and J.W. Walker student Danielle Hammond, both winners of an essay contest held in conjunction with Local Government Week (Oct. 19-25), appeared before council. Mayor Roy Avis afterwards presented them with certificates of participation as well as Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce gift certificates.
