Lakers’ forward Byron Katapaytuk hunted down Dryden defenceman Jon Mitchell in Tuesday night’s 1-0 loss at the Ice For Kids Arena. Katapaytuk had a couple of chances to break the home side’s goose egg, but hit a post on one occasion and was stymied by Ice Dogs’ goalie Ian Perrier on another. The Lakers next hit the road to face the expansion Wisconsin Wilderness tomorrow night in Spooner before returning home to complete the home-and-home series Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
