Morgan Beckett, left, and Kaylyn Levesque worked on some self-esteem exercises at Sunny Cove on Saturday during the second-annual “I Am Awesome! (And I Know It!)” retreat for girls ages 10-16. A total of 70 girls from across the region took part in the four-day event, which featured a variety of workshops, such as drama, music, visual arts, yoga, creative writing, and Internet safety, in an effort to nurture and develop the girls’ self-esteem.
