Lori Cress proudly displays her Autumn themed River Scene queen size quilt that will be offered at the live auction at the Hunter’s Supper on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Stratton. The earth-toned piece in browns, greens and golds was designed and pieces cut and sewn by Lori Cress of Stratton, and was quilt-stitched by Kathy Schwartz of Emo. This is just one of the terrific gifts generously donated by folks across the Rainy River Valley in support of WRRD Lions Youth charitable projects. To reserve your seat at the supper, for a chance to bid on this and a huge selection of other items – or just to have a night of great food and fun – you need to get a ticket in advance. They’re expected to sell out fast! To reserve a seat, call Telford Advent at 271-2007 or e-mail email@example.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Westside Baits, Fort Frances; Kent Ogden, Cloverleaf & Hair & Body Shop, Emo; Sunrise Meats, Barwick; Nestor Falls Marine & Sport, Nestor Falls; Stratton Service, Country Corner Cafe, Chris Pollard, Stratton Equipment, Stratton; Wood’s Bakery, Beaver Mills Market, Rainy River. Dinner will be fresh walleye with all the fixings, with a selection of local game.
