The municipal boat launch at McIrvine Road has seen better days as continuing high water both above and below the dam causes significant damage to structures in and around the water. The town has begun filling sandbags at the Point Park in anticipation of water levels continuing to rise, with the Lake of the Woods Control Board warning water levels could meet or even exceed those seen in 2014.
