Sandbagging efforts continue across the region as high water levels continue to threaten infrastructure and homes. Namakan Lake has now exceeded water levels recorded in 2014, and Rainy Lake is quickly approaching its high water mark from that year as well. Volunteers for sandbagging are still being sought by area municipalities and organizations, as water levels are predicted to remain high for several weeks.
