Union Gas volunteers Chris Kaun, left, Mark Davis, and Rick Jewell were at the ’52 Canadians Arena last month fixing damaged seats as part of the company’s “Helping Hands” program. At a recent council meeting, Luke Skaarup of Union Gas presented town council with three $1,000 cheques to fix the seats there and at the Ice For Kids Arena. The other $1,000 will go towards the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce’s “Project Petunia.”
