Carter Kinnear, 11, had his hearing aid placed by Jackie McCormick of the Fort Frances Enhanced Hearing Centre yesterday while his mother, Tammy McNally-Kinnear, sat beside him. Jacques Fiset, top right, along with Ed and Val Rose from the Fort Frances Lions Club, were instrumental in the youngster receiving the hearing aid after providing a $2,050 donation. Carter had been having trouble hearing for years due to ruptured ear drums, but said he finally can hear the typing on the keyboard and chirping of the birds.
