Daniel Vandenbrand and Chris Silver tried to hurry their rock down the ice Saturday at the men’s and ladies’ combined bonspiel held at the Fort Frances Curling Club. The duo were part of Ron Silver’s rink, who fell in Sunday’s ‘A’ final to Steve Gushulak. Other men’s winners included Doug Herr over Kevin Busch (‘B’) and Lorne Jackson over Raymond Roy (‘C) while Tom Mayer and Greg Swire called it a draw in the ‘D’-side skins game.
