Handmade bannock


Robin Simmons, a Grade 8 student from Robert Moore School, helped fry up bannock that his classmates made during Seven Generations Education Institute’s “Fall Harvest” yesterday. The institute had about 250 students from across the region attend yesterday’s event, which included many traditional skills like preparing wild rice, cleaning and smoking fish, and making moccasins.
