Dressed up as a doughnut, OPP Cst. Anne McCoy explained to students at Robert Moore School yesterday the importance of carrying glowsticks while trick-or-treating tonight in order to be visible to drivers. OPP officer Shaun Kocuiba and Chelsea Bragg, of the Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services, also offered safety tips during presentations at schools throughout the district while delivering glowsticks as part of “Project Safe Hallowe’en,” which has been running locally for 11 years.
