Sandy and Bob Wepruk, of the Fort Frances Pairs ’n Squares Squares, presented local residents Marj and Bert Smeeth with certificates from the Canadian Square and Round Dancing Society and the Sunset Country Squares in recognition of their 50 years of square dancing during a potluck and dance Saturday at the Robert Moore School gym. The Smeeths also were congratulated by Harry and Dorothy Jones, with whom they often have travelled abroad to square dance, before enjoying cake with their family, friends, and fellow dancers on hand.
