Jesse Carmody grinned ruefully as he stared at his ponytail—no longer attached to his head—before the rest of his long locks were shaved off here last Wednesday afternoon. The head shave, which raised more than $800, was part of the fundraising drive of the local Tim Hortons Camp Day. A total of $5,013.66 was raised through 24 hours worth of coffee sales, the head shave, donations, and other fundraising projects done by Tim Hortons employees. The money will be used to pay for two youths from the Fort Frances area to attend camp this summer.
