Detachment commander Insp. This week marked the grand opening of the $20-million facility, which began construction in the spring of 2019 and will serve the entirety of the Rainy River district.

Tucker Johnson, left, Siobhan MacKintosh, and Sydney Johnson did the honour of cutting the ribbon at the grand opening ceremony for Family and Children’s Services yesterday afternoon. FACS moved into the renovated old Fort High last summer. Yesterday’s grand opening featured guided tours, snacks, balloons and colouring for children, and a barbecue.
