Representatives from the numerous organizations involved gathered outside the Mino Ayaa Ta Win Healing Centre during its grand-opening Friday. Following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, attendees were able to tour the new residential treatment and detox centre located on Mishkiki Miikan Road about 10 minutes east of Fort Frances. Referrals started in mid-November, with intakes beginning today for the mental health counselling, cultural, and community support services the centre will provide.
