On March 9, MPP Greg Rickford (far right) announced $650,500 fund for the expansion of the Paramedicine for the long-term care support program in the Rainy River District at the Ambulance Base. The funds will go towards helping seniors stay in their homes safety while they wait for space in a long-term care home. The program includes access to 24-7 health services at home or remotely, non-emergency home visits and in-home testing procedures, regular monitoring, education on health, and connections to home care and community supports.
