Moving along right on schedule, the steel framework for the new biomass boiler building started going up today at the site located on Portage Avenue and Sinclair Street. In the next three to five weeks, the entire steel structure should be completed. The concrete for the stoker foundation, which the boiler will sit on, also will be poured today. While site work is expected to come to a halt once winter arrives, spring will see an intense period of construction, with next October still targeted as the completion date.
