Scaffolding has begun to go up around the water tower as crews begin to undertake substantial renovation work. The scaffolding and a shroud that will be erected will allow crews to sandblast the exterior coating. The project is comprised of both interior and exterior work on the tower and cost the town roughly $4.1 million. The work is expected to last most of the remainder of 2025.
